Users not able to upload - admins & anonymous only

I just updated my gallery to 1.3 and brdiged it to SMF

Now only the 2 admins and anonymous users are able to upload files to the gallery. The regular users don't even have the option to upload file.

I have set ALL groups to upload, with out approval, and no quota - but still no option to upload file unless you are an admin.

have you enabled uploads in the album properties of the albums the regular users are suppossed to upload to?

well it turned out to be that anyone that had NOT posted to smf could not post to the gallery - which is fine.
for a little while it would only allow admins and anonymous users to post, but after setting the groups preferences again it all worked just fine.

so it seems to be working now.
