login problem when using redirection.

Hello;
I have installed a coppermine gallery on a free hosting server. I have also bought a domain name so that I could hide the long adress given by my free host because I don't like it much.
The fact is that : when I log on (username and passworrd), the redirection adress being displayed, it doesn't work. It says welcome, but apparently I am not considered to be logged in. Everything works fine when the real address is written.
How can I work that out ?
