Hi i just installed the 1.3.5 standalone script and I want to password protect the entire website so only family members can view it.

Is there anyway of doing this?

You can setup password protection using htaccess. Check if your host has an easy interface available to do this.

I emailed my host provider, I hope they can help me, I want something that pops up a login block when u enter the url for the website, like most of the other pw-protected sites..  Kind of like a cpanel login

cPanel has a password protect feature you should be able to use.
