What I would like to know.

Is it possible to copy an existing copermine i have on a server to another directory on the same server, so i will then have two galleries?

Thanks in advance for any help

Yes, you would then have two galleries sharing the same database information. Not a very wise move - you would gain anything from it. If you need two totally independent galleries on one domain, you'd have to install coppermine into another folder and use a database prefix that differs from your first coppermine install.
Instead, I recommend you post what you're trying to accomplish and we could then try to give you a recommendation how to do it.

Thanks for the reply, I installed cppermine again in a new directory.

What i am doing is this

1) one gallery to offer free images

2) another gallery for members only showing completely different pics. after a small payment via a payment processor

Thanks

This could be done using only one coppermine install. However, if this is your prefered method and works fine for you: nevermind. I wouldn't go through all this double work though.

thanks, i was not aware of this, not sure how it would be password protected by ccbill as they want all the directory info to protect it with their software.. however I will look more into what you suggest.

Thanks again
