We just finished upgrading our forum to PHPBB 2.0.17 and in the process lost the link to our photo gallery.  We are using Coppermine 1.3.2 by the way.  I'm not quite sure where to start.  I could really use some help...

Thanks,
Sharon

Did you read the section in the docs on how to integrate/bridge?

SHARONB

Yes, I did read a few posts on integration.  I havent' done this but once before so I'm totally lost.  All I know that when I click on the photo gallery link from our forum I get: Template error   Failed to find block 'logout' then a bunch of Begin album   End Album scripts.  I'm just not sure where to get started.

SHARONB

Is it okay to PM the info to you?

Sharon

Nibbler

You can if you wish, but that would make me the only supporter able to help you.

SHARONB

I went ahead and sent a PM...

Nibbler or whoever else can help,

I tried posting my custom theme.php but I get an error message that says I exceeded the limit.

Sharon

Joachim Müller

zip it and then attach it to your posting using "Additional options" when composing your message.

SHARONB

In the process of trying to get the custom theme back into our photo gallery, I accidently screwed up the classic theme that we originally copied ours after.  I put the files from our custom into the classic so now I have this when I clicl on Photo Gallery:

Template error

I seem to be making matters worse then better....  At least Nibbler go the classic working for me but now I have nothing...  How can I fix this mess?  I just want my custom theme back.

I also noticed that when the classic theme was working before I messed that up, I couldn't get on as an administrator.  I'm  not sure what the problem is there...

Desperately need help.... :\'(

Sharon

Nibbler

Nothing I can say without being able to look at your theme.php. Zip it up and post it to the board.

SHARONB

It appears we have a theme.php and a theme 1.php in our custom themes. We have one other person that lends a hand with the Photo Gallery so I'm mot sure where the other theme.php comes from.  I went ahead and added both to the zip file.

Thanks,
Sharon

You have overmodified this section:

// HTML template for main menu
$template_main_menu = <<<EOT
                <span class="topmenu">
<!-- BEGIN album_list -->
                        <a href="http://www.crossdressers-forum.com/forums/" title="Forum">Forum</a> ::

<!-- END album_list -->

                        <a href="{MEMBERLIST_TGT}" title="{MEMBERLIST_TITLE}">{MEMBERLIST_LNK}</a>  ::

                        <a href="{UPL_PIC_TGT}" title="{UPL_PIC_TITLE}">{UPL_PIC_LNK}</a>

                        <a href="{REGISTER_TGT}" title="{REGISTER_TITLE}">{REGISTER_LNK}</a>

You must have the logout link in there somewhere, even if it is commented out. Replace that section with this:

// HTML template for main menu
$template_main_menu = <<<EOT
                <span class="topmenu">
<!-- BEGIN album_list -->
                        <a href="http://www.crossdressers-forum.com/forums/" title="Forum">Forum</a> ::

                        <a href="{ALB_LIST_TGT}" title="{ALB_LIST_TITLE}">{ALB_LIST_LNK}</a> ::
<!-- END album_list -->
<!-- BEGIN my_gallery -->
                        <a href="{MY_GAL_TGT}" title="{MY_GAL_TITLE}">{MY_GAL_LNK}</a> ::
<!-- END my_gallery -->
<!-- BEGIN allow_memberlist -->
                        <a href="{MEMBERLIST_TGT}" title="{MEMBERLIST_TITLE}">{MEMBERLIST_LNK}</a>  ::
<!-- END allow_memberlist -->
<!-- BEGIN my_profile -->
                        <a href="{MY_PROF_TGT}">{MY_PROF_LNK}</a> ::

                        <a href="{ADM_MODE_TGT}" title="{ADM_MODE_TITLE}">{ADM_MODE_LNK}</a> ::

After I replaced that one section, it looks like my custom theme and "forum" link on the photo gallery came back.  Thanks for the help.... Unfortunately, I still have one major problem, no admin/user options.  The admin panel does not exist.  None of my settings on my computer have changed since it was last working properly.   I looked on the forum for others who had similar problems but when I cleaned up my cookies I ended up losing the photo gallery again so I had to replace that one section again and it was fine.  I'm not sure what to do next.  I checked my security and firewall and they are fine...  What am I missing?  I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to all this... I keep trying to do things myself and I just end up messing them up even more... :(

You need to set the cookie path of your forum's cookies to '/' for coppermine to be able to read them.

I went into the admin panel and changed it to '/' and still nothing happens???

Sharon

SHARONB

I managed to find the problem.  I had to change the cookie name also.  The Admin panel has returned...  :)

Thanks for your help....
