i can't edit any of my files

i'm logged into admin mode and my screenname is set under the administrators group, but every time i click 'edit files' and add captions, i click 'apply modifications' when i am done and come out with this error message: You don't have permission to access this page.

can someone please help?

what's the url of the page you're being sent to (when the error message appears)?

I have the same problem. The URL on the page I get is http://www.mydomain.com/coppermine/editpics.php?album=5&start=100&count=100

You don't have permission to access this page.

If you modify the URL to read count=10, does it work then ?

Now I only have problems with the batch upload function. I do get the same message, but this time the URL is
http://www.mydomain.com/coppermine/searchnew.php?insert=1

I have tried a different no of files to upload.
