If you scroll to the right you can see blank fields where  albums used to be.
Is there any way to eliminate this effect?

What did you delete?

In Config, check:  Number of columns for the album list

I haven't changed anything in Config.

But I did change the theme.php.  I found 'album_list_cols' but where is it being set?

I havent changed any of this.  I just applied the pop-up mod and a watermark mod.

oh but you know what.  When I do administration, I go through the backdoor and directly open login.php

since there's no admin link in my theme.  Could that be a problem?

Tranz

Could you try using one of the default themes that come with Coppermine? It's good to have one lest there are issues with the custom theme.

I just tried classic theme and I see it there too  ???

Here's my database with the default classic theme

Anything else I should check?  I'm starting to think that I shouldn't do administration directly through login.php

Ok I figured it out.

In the Config menu.  Number of columns in Album list creates these ghost columns even if you dont have albums.

I had mine set to 12 when I only have 2 albums so there were 10 ghost columns created.  I think this is a bug.

you're including your overall site layout including the extra <html>, <head> and <body> sections, which results in crappy html output. The classic theme is not there, you modified it. This is not how to properly theme your site. I recommend doing from scratch.
