always show categories

In coppermine, catlist is only displayed on the main page, but when viewing a specific category, catlist is turned off.

Is there a way to keep catlist always on ?

any help would be appreciated

This behaviour is standard for coppermine, im not reporting a bug.

By design Coppermine only displays all categories on the main page when using catlist but when you go into that category you are left with breadcrumbs but no catlist.

I am trying to always have catlist present., instead of having it only on the "home" page.

What you are asking would probably mean considerable modifications to index.php, thumbnails.php, displayimage.php, and theme.php.

I would suggest selecting a theme with menus on the side from one of these:

Then, add additional links to the side menu that point to each of your categories.
