I've tested the following on different servers:

If MySQL works with UTF-8, there is no problem with the sync of the group names from the board to cpg (when use_post_based_groups = 1). But if the db runs with ISO-8859 funny things occurs. Then I get only the first letter of the groups what is really annoying when you have many groups.
Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Sorry, there is no support for what seems to be German.
