Okay, I have a coppermine photo gallery": http://csi.so-phobic.com/ and I want to add 467 images into one album, without just doing 5 images at a time. I don't know what version I have, and what info, but I would like to know how I can add a batch file!

Okay, I've read that. But I have no idea how to use FTP, etc. IF someone could just help me give instructions without creating a subalbum, that would be great!

I can't even find a thing in the manual to figure out how to do FTP????

Sorry for double-posting!

Cheers,

FTP is an abbreviation for "file transfer protocol". You use it to upload files to your webspace, it's the way you should have set up your coppermine gallery in the first place, but apparently you have used an auto-installer provided from your webhost (e.g. fantastico). The coppermine dev team is not very fond of auto-installers, as the past showed that they tend to be buggy.
However, to use batch-add, you will need two things: you will need to find out if your webhost let's you use FTP at all and what your FTP access data are. Once you figured this out, you will need a FTP app. There are some good free ones, e.g. SmartFTP. I recommend you google for those, but remember to take one step at a time.
There's no reference in the coppermine docs to what FTP is because we consider it mandatory to already know what it is when you're running your own website - it's basic knowledge imo.

P.S. Next time you post on any forum on the internet, use a better subject. All forum threads would have the same subject as yours, as everybody is asking for help when posting in the first place.
