Comments not working. V.1.2.0

I was just hired on to help with a site that has been around for a while.  The site has version 1.2.0-Nuke installed, and everything works except the comments feature.  Comments are enabled in each album permissions config, and overall config in the admin panel.  However, the feature simply doesn't show up on any page.  The gallery can be found here: http://theunspeakables.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=coppermine&file=index 

I would appreciate any help/ideas that anyone can give.  The templates seem to be in order, I really can't figure out why the comments feature is not showing up.

there's no support for the php nuke port. Moving your request accordingly. Read the sticky threads on the sub-board I moved your question to.
