Hey people, first of see this page: http://www.shadygallery.com/thumbnails.php?album=2
You'll see the pagination links at the bottom are touching the thumbnails ..

where can I chose how the page links are displayed?

( I'd like to have them in a grey bar but for the life of me can't find what code is the template for it )

Thanks

The dev team honestly lack in giving help and seem very 2-d ( edit: excluding donnoman who is very friendly and helpfull ). I started the theme from scratch based on sample.php and the hardwired theme so if it's missing then it would be of help if you told me what to add and where as I only followed upgrade instructions. I wouldn't intentionally remove the footer, I fully support open source scripts ( such as phpbb which I also use ), the footer doesn't need to manually be placed within the theme does it? If so, it's a step I sadly never came across during the upgrade.

Anyone able to help with my original question?

Well here's part of your style.css - this is clearly deliberate hiding of the footer.

.footer { visibility:hidden; }

I apologize, this has been removed and the footer is now present. I've worked with different people on the gallery and I remember this change being made but never removed it. It's now been corrected.

Hope you can still help with my original question.

Giving this a little bump, anyone able to help?
( also, my karma seems to drop every time I visit?  ??? )

your karma drops because you constantly misbehave. The karma is being used by the supporters to spot people like you. The lower your karma gets, the less likely it becomes that your question go answered by the dev team members. If your karma gets even lower, you might get banned. I recommend reviewing your attitude.
To improve your karma, you should - as a first step - start respecting board rules and common sense. To avoid this thread become a flame war again, I'm locking it.
On a side-note: I can't replicate your issues, the pagination looks OK for me both in IE and FF.
