Allow All Users to Create an Album in Main Categories

I would like to see the following feature implemented:  Allow All Users to Create an Album in Main Categories.

I have a site that has an EVENTS category that I would like to have all users be able to create an Album with the name of the event as the Album name and upload their pictures there.  This would allow all users wanting to view Event Photos to go to one Category to view them rather than looking through all of the User Galleries.

Does anybody know if there is a hack for this?

I also would like to have my users be able to make their own photo albums. We are using this for an alumni site to post old pictures and new. Thank you for a great product.

already scheduled for cpgNG, has been requested before. Not that easy to accomplish though.

I need this feature as well. And while we are on it: users should also be able to create categories.

Yes, this is a very usefull feature I'm really missing! Please, set the priority to the highest level.
