Cannot batch add file that have been resized with ImRe

I dowloaded a program called ImRe. http://www.vcsoftwares.com/ImRe.html  It resizes pictures in batch.  I resized pictures and when I use the batch add it does not create the thumbnail or album on these images.  I get the picture of broken image.

Are there issues with this program?
Is there a recommended program to use for batch resizing?  I am trying to cut down uploading time and that is why I am resizing.
