Joomla and 1.4 coppermine

I am trying to get my phographic community away from Nuke and the old coppermine meld

site at  http://globalphotosite.info to view the old site

What is the best & most recommended platform to add the latest coppermine to?

I have just installed Joomla on the server, is there any way I can combine these or would you recommend a BB ?
