Hi @ all,

as soon as a user have 15 or more user galleries, everthings looks confusing. Is there any way to structure the user galleries?
I know that user galleries are sub categories, but I think it is necessary to have sub sub categories...

For example: in my former gallery yappa-ng I had a folder for eyery year, a subfolder for every month and there were the galleries

How do you solve this problem?

Nevertheless, I like CPG and that is my new gallery, nothing else  :)

Thx, Gangerl

My gallery: http://coppermine.fotoschachterl.de (Coppermine)
My old gallery: http://www.fotoschachterl.de/yappa-ng/

GauGau: Thx for the info, perhaps an idea for later...

Others: How do you arrange your tons of pics in CPG?

Joachim Müller

Most use public categories, sub-categories and albums to get a nicely-structured page instead of using personal galleries. Especially you (as coppermine admin) shouldn't be using a personal gallery for your own use, but create public categories and albums.

That's right, but my users don't want to miss the XP Web Publisher :-(

And I can understand them...

Nevermind, we will find a solution or a workaround for the problem...

they can upload to public galleries as well using XP_Publisher if you allow them to do so, so this doesn't apply.
