not meant to interfere but i got the same problem as he has. it redirects me to some random link which is the same as he posted int he first post. i have the latest udb_base.inc.php file, which is 1.14 i think? i downloaded after i read this post of urs here.  my forum url is www.wilat.com/forum   and the gallery is www.wilat.com/gallery.   i selected phpbb 2.0.18 or better, with http://www.wilat.com/forum as forum url and relative path as ../forum/  and cookie prefix phpbb2mysql and it does not work.   my gallery was updated from version 1.3.4 and my forum was updated from 2.0.17 to 2.0.19 .  both the forum and the gallery work well independantly.    thanks
