Pictures are in the list of category, not in the albums

My English isn't very good, but I hope you'll understand my problem.

I have made categorys, directorys and subdirectorys and I already added albums and photos.
I will go to the indexpage, than to the categorys.
First I see the subcategorys with the right numbers of the albums and files.
Below it I see the subcategorys again and the buttons of delete, edit etc.
There is my problem: I don't see the albums there. Everywhere are 0 files.
What is wrong?

hard to tell without a link . However, if there's a button labelled "Properties" next to a thumbnail, it probably is an album, not a sub-category. You're mixing up terms a bit...

And another question: How can I edit the pages?
I don't want the random files and the file information on my site if you click an album or a photo.
Can I change that and where?
