Das bekannte php4.4.2-Problem

Hey!

Mein Provider hat vor einigen Tagen auf php 4.4.2 erhöht. Nun sitzt meine Schwester in Australien und kann ihre Fotos nicht mehr uploaden.
Beim Upload-Versuch kommt nach dem Zuweisen in ein Album folgende Meldung: "In das Zielverzeichnis albums/userpics/10002/ kann vom Skript nicht geschrieben werden!". Die Debug-Info sieht folgendermassen aus:

Mir ist klar, dass das Problem am PHP-Update liegen muss (ist das einzige, was verändert wurde). Und so habe ich alles gemäss diesem Thread gemacht (obwohl der eigentlich für php4.4.1 steht. Hat aber nichts gebracht, das Problem besteht weiterhin.

Ich bin deshalb für jegliche Hilfe dankbar.

was ist "Das bekannte php4.4.2-Problem"? Ich würde mal sagen, das ist eher ein Rechte (CHMOD) oder Besitzer (CHOWN)-Problem...

Außerdem würde ich mal auf cpg1.4.3 upgraden.
