hey guys

i have coppermine running on my website
imagemagick is installed on the webserver
but i need to install: Convert
how can i install it ?? does someone had a good manual or something?
plz let me know! e-mail of replay

bless you ;)

Carsten

I guess convert is already installed (otherwise ImageMagick wouldn't make much sense, convert is a major part of it).
If you have ssh access perform the command "whereis convert" to figure out where convert is; otherwise try the path /usr/bin/ or ask your webhoster's support.

As far as I know convert is ImageMagick ... but ok:
Here's a tutorial to install IM (including convert) without root access:

That's the solution for your question.
But I still think your question is wrong - ask your hoster for convert.
(Or use GD or change the hosting company).

Convert is not an independent program; it is a command line tool of ImageMagick.  Please go to ImageMagick's website for installation instructions and support.
