Upgrade's OK but I have troubles with lang. file & report .php

After upgrading & running update.php I saw only blank page. When I replaced Russian Language file with older version, it works But I wanna know  -how important is to use NEW lang files. &after all, my report .php doesn't work & even loaded  -error on page

Well, I've got it:) U must cange admin.php if u use charset windows 1251. So add the line 'Cyrillic (windows-1251)' => 'windows-1251',. It works. But I still don't know how to fix report .php. Any ideas?
