This thing is driving me nuts!!!!  Here's the skinny...

Yesterday (early this morning) while I was working on bridging this together.  I ran into a problem with not being able to login.  I searched, found some information, and corrected the issue.  The issue ended up being that I did not have the cookies in my board shared globally (they were limited to just the "Forum" section of my website).  I also ended up editing the config table for CPG and renamed the cookie to SMFCookie10 - the name of the cookie my forum uses.

Well, I got that fixed, and could now log in.  Never noticed a problem until I tried to logout.  When I clicked the logout button it sent me to my forum index (still logged in).  I click the logout button from my forum index, and it basically just refreshes that page....meaning I'd stay logged in on the forum index.  So, I started searching the SMF forums and found out that a simple clearing of the browser's cache should fix the problem.  Well, it did - BUT - Now I can't login anymore when I'm bridged.  I didn't change ANYTHING minus clearing the cache since the last time it was working.  So now my brain is officially fried!!!!

For something that everyone else has done with such ease, this is really testing my patience.  It's frustrating to see all these other people have no issues while I'm literally running in circles trying to get this worked out.

I currently do not have it bridged.  Please let me know if I should re-bridge it in order to better help you to help me.

Here is the info requested via the template:

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and XXX:
[error message here]

Coppermine install: http://atv-edge.com/gallery/
Forum install: http://atv-edge.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.4
Forum version: SMF 1.1RC2
Test user account: test / test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:
  http://atv-edge.com/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  1

As I mentioned, I currently DO NOT have it bridged, but will gladly bridge it in order to make it easier for someone to help me out.

Much thanks!!!

Cookie names should be different, although that doesn't really matter with SMF. Please enable the bridge.

Enable subdomain independent cookies in SMF and then clear the cookies on your browser. Other than that the test account works fine.

I knew I was forgetting to try something.  I was messing around with that earlier when I initially had the problem, but it seemed to work better with nothing checked at the time.

Thanks very much for your help!!!!!  I'll do my best to return the favor when/if I can.

EDIT:  BTW, great product and great customer support!  Simply amazing!
