Hi there thank you for this kind of forums, this is my first post so bare with me :P

Some suggestions..
Why don't you make subforums of categories inside cpg1.4 (BBS) integration / bridging?? like Invision Thread...MyBB Thread or something like that :P it's cool to read a lot of post but not all of them :D

Ok... now to the the main thing here :D

1. First you have need to have your IPB running from A to Z  ok....
2. In my web page www.enlaces-digitales.com/foro u can see the board.....
3. Log in to your ROOT account ans log in to ypur ACP, after in Tools & settings, go to the cookie config:

3.1 Examples here one from Patrick Shaw with this thread: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=26836.0 the other mine of course ;)

4. The Gallery of course you go to http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/ :D and download it and ¡¡¡¡READ IT!!!!! please it helps and alot.... after you succeded in install the gallery in stand alone mode (sort of speak) you are ready to the main threat ..... INTEGRATING

I want to say hi to all of you from México more accurate from San Luis Potosi in the center of México, everyone is invited to come here and have a great time in the jungle and colonial places ..
Ok after the commercial :D

Enter the gallery and go to the option menu from there to coolie configuration...

After that DELETE the cookie script prefix cpg140 something like that the route use by the script leave it " / "

5. Ok go to bridge manager inder admin tools and select IPB

6. After that fill the form as the example.. again with 2 examples:

This can help! If I understand, this is for IPB 2.1.x and CPG 1.4.x and only for the integration of the users. This is not a complete integration with the skin, right?

Rush_To_Me

You're right,  beacause i wrote this "FAQ" so late at night i didn't put a correct subject title so thank you to make it notice ;D

The skin can be a problem but you can choose another skin... if you want an "IPB Skin" you have to wait a little longer... to see if someone make one to CPG :P beacuse i don't know squat of CSS... :D

I have tried really quickely and it seems to work fine.
But it also seems that users trying to log via cpg: - are using the login module of ipb -> this is normal  ;)
                                                                       - are not redirecting to cpg once logged -> too bad  :'(. Does someone know how to do this?

Yup, it's normal the users go to the IPB login page, that's waht bridging it's about, (i think ;)) the redirecting problem well i don't know too much of PHP (kind of newbie here ;D) but you can put a link in you're IPB header section like mine...

Of Course some basic lessons of Spanish first... Gallery = Galería

http://www.enlaces-digitales.com/foro/

So you can view the link in the header section, if you need help on how to put the link there send me a PM o make a reply here

Joachim Müller

redirection back to coppermine after logging in is only possible if the bbs app supports this sort of redirect. While smf and phpbb do support redirect, ipb and vb don't. To accomplish redirection, you'd have to modify ipb code. As we have no idea how ipb works, you'd have to ask this over at the ipb support boards.

wolfoo7

That works on IE 6 and higher byt it isnt work on Firefox  :o Can  somebody help ? What i need to do that this intehration works on Ie and Firefox ??

Thanks

Joachim Müller

What's "that" for you (as in "That works")? You'll have to post more details - read the sticky thread on this sub-board and then start your own thread providing the needed details, as this one is marked as solved. Locking now.
