Text Download Link Under Image, Video, etc...

Hello, I viewed the board and found many instances of download links for files. Many take away from other CPG funcionallity. Some are meant for one type of file. Hell, some are just too old. Perhaps my request has been answered on this board; however, I am at a loss as to where I might find the solution to my need. Basically, I need a "Download this File" link or something of that nature under all displays of my files. Any suggestions? As always, thank you in advance for your reply.
