When I upload a file while I use Firefox I get a white screen after I upload a file.
When I do teh same with Internet Explorer and refresh the page that can't shown, I get an debug code:

I don't know what to do and hope that you can fix it for me?

one thing, dont give a  administrator username ;)

Joachim Müller

changed the test user's privilege level from admin to registered (creating a user "gaugau" during that process that you can savely delete). Tom500 is right. Never post an admin account, even if it's a fresh install.

Thanks for the tips  ;)

I see that you can upload a picture but when I want to upload, I have the same problem.

Thanks a lot but I must look for an other solution.

I changed the test gallery to http://www.partyxxl.nl/0pictures/

I can upload some photo's but not every photo.

When I upload the same photo:

800x600 & 57,0kb   =  OK

1024x768 & 92,3kb  =  OK

1280x960 & 125kb  =  Blank page      & also when I make the photo  80,7 kb

When I get a blank page, I'm redirected to  http://www.partyxxl.nl/0pictures/db_input.php

So I don't know what setting I must change to get the big pictures in my gallery.

There are server sided limitations (not coppermine settings!) that keep you from uploading pics with larger dimensions, read the first posting in the thread Trouble-shooting the upload process about those settings. When web-hosted, you probably won't be able to change them by yourself (only the server admin can), you will either have to find another webhost or go for the smaller pics only, i.e. resize on your client before uploading.

I contact my Server admin and he say to me that there are not any limitations for uploading files to the server.
When I try to upload a big picture, most times I get the white screen http://www.partyxxl.nl/0pictures/db_input.php
Other times I get the message that I haven't permissions to upload that file in that album.
But every time the pics are uploaded to teh server (my webspace), incl. thumbs!

From my Server admin I know that there are no limitations, so can somebody take a look at the settings because I checked everthing more than 10 times and never got a solution.

Please help me  ???

look, it seems like you haven't read the section I was refering to: there's no limitation on the size of files one can upload to a webserver using FTP (except your overall webspace) - that's correct. However, coppermine needs to resize them (create an intermediate image and the thumbnail). This is something that is done by computing power on the server - the full-sized files you uploaded to the server already exist on the server then. So, the limitations I refered to don't apply to uploading itself - your server admin was right on this issue; they apply to the necessary subsequent resizing process. Yet you were not meant to ask him if there are upload limitations - we are aware that there usually are none. However, the limitations described in the sticky thread I refered to apply for resizing. If resizing fails, the files can't be added to coppermine.
Resolution: do as I suggested and read the thread I refered to - I mean it. If you don't understand it, ask your admin to look into the thread, he'll probably understand (if he doesn't, he should apply for a different job).
