Hi all,

After reading and searching from the mannual and the forum but still not finding it. Please somebody can help would be greatly appreciated.

I installed the newest version and created this layout.

User Galleries

  • User 1

  • Album 1
  • Album 2
  • User 2

  • Album 1
  • Album 2
[/list]

And then I set the permission either one of them to be for registered member only and the rest to be viewed in public. Then I loged out and I supposed to see all the albums which have set for public viewers but not a thing I could see "It says no users galleries".

I went back to set all the albums for public viewers and logged out again. This time I see them all.

Please somebody can help me with problem I would be greatly appreciated.

don't use "user galleries", but create public categories/albums. Post a link and non-admin test user account.

Creating public categories/albums doesn't fix the problem. Create 2 albums under "Public Category 1" and set one of their view properties to "Memeber of the 'Registered' group" and ALL albums from that user will disappear. If I am correct, all albums from ALL users will disappear from the public's view. This topic is related to my other post at http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=31573.0

I believe this is a bug...

Joachim Müller

Sure. Worked for thousands of others, so you probably discovered a bug that others haven't for an outdated version of coppermine... ::)

Failing to do as suggested will result in no actual support.

Tazlord

Actually,
If you read the other post I created, it is still happening to me in 1.4.8...
Everyone I've talked to can neither confirm or deny my findings (probably cuz my friends are lazy) and I'm pretty much out of ideas.
If you wanna give it a try yourself, check it out ...

Then what's the point in replying to an oudated thread that deals with another coppermine version than yours? Locking!
