MySQL said: Access denied for user

I changed the password on My MYsql database "my database" I did this so I could configure a Coppermine Plugin for Serendipity Blog.  This password change has made my Gallery go offline with errors

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'my database name,etc (using password yes)

Please  let me know how to fix it.  I cannot access my admin Page for the gallery to change anything.  Please help..

edit includes/config.inc.php accordingly.

Hey, Thank you very Much, I was able to find the Original Password that I forgot.  I re configured the Original password and now Im good to go again........  Thank you very much.,,
