Well Hi and I don't mean to insult in any way on my first post :)  But the posts here appears to be a bit disorganized and very confusing.  eg:  if a modification is being worked though a thread, then would it not be correct to always update the first post in that thread?  as appose to bitty adjustments though out the thread.

I have just installed coppermine to check it out and thus far looking good.  However, some very important Security issues are missing in my opinion:

"no right click" and "watermarking"

I have searched for these modifications and read so many posts on both subjects, neither of which appear to be resolved to date.

Would some one be kind enough to point me in the right direction, to resolve these important issues please :)

thanks

Joachim Müller

thanks for adding your thread to the category "disorganized" by asking two question in one posting  . I guess you just volunteered to stick around this board for some time, do some support work, so we can appoint you moderator. You'll then be able to update all first postings of all threads that were resolved. :D

Some ideas/comments on your requests:
  • no-right click is not security related: if you want security, don't publish your pics on the internet. The term "security" usually relates to prevent people from breaking things, viewing things they're not supposed to etc.
  • Watermarking on the server is silly, because it causes a lot of server load and there are technological issues; therefor you're requested to watermark your pics on your pc before uploading them (I've posted this several times)
  • watermarking with IM, watermarking with GD
  • no right-click
  • Are you sure you really have read the threads on the modification board? Just because some people are not able to use mods this doesn't mean they don't work...[/list:u]GauGau
