Error with pncpgsrolller in pnphpbb

Hi Cas, 

I am getting this error message above the scroller in pnphpbb:

Error with pncpgsrolller in pnphpbb: 
Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user:´'mysite@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /var/www/html/modules/pnCPG/pnblocks/pncpg-scroller.php on line 205

The scroller shows up correctly only that it displays this message above the scroller and as the message is wider than the scroller it breaks the whole page.

The module in itself is working fine and the scroller works OK on all other pages it only gives this problenm in pncpg.
Just for your info I am using gpg 1.3 and pncpg 2.5

Roshlin,

did you defined database host/user/password in the config of pnCPG ?
If so remove, can you remove it ? Should be no problem if both applications run on the same system.
If you do need that, did you fill in the root path of Postnuke correctly ? This should be the physical path.

Hi Cas,

I have set up everything correctly, and everything is working fine, even the scroller ONLY ONLY on the pnphpbb i get the scroller working properly BUT WITH THE ERROR MESSAGE

Still believe that you should try to leave out the definition of the host for Coppermine. That should take care of the issue.

If not, try if the block also generates the problem when it is located on the left side.

Got the same error on the left side also.
So I deleted the host, user and password and solved the problem.
