Everything is fine except the index.php

Everyting is fine but the mainpage 
I cannot see my pictures at the mainpage but pictures are present when I click "Album List", "Last Uploads" and so on and so forth...

Beside the index page, everything is fine... :-\

I did upgrade from 1.3.x to 1.4.4.
Read the documentaion carefully, took all the precautions (Backup your include/config.inc.php file, your anycontent.php file and your "albums" directoy) and started the process.
At the end of the road, I run the update.php, received two outputs either "already done" or "OK"
Then run versioncheck.php it seemed ok to me:

Set it to the default value of 'breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2'' and then change it to suit.
