1.4.4 ratings are missing?

Just installed 1.4.4 and on the album, the setting is that visitors can rate and comment. However I cannot rate my own photos, or add comments. Is that a feature?

You never can rate your own uploads (that's definitely a feature), however you should be able to comment (if you have allowed comments for the group you're in). Post a link and non-admin test user account.
