function theme_display_album_list_cat

I'm trying to use {CAT_TITLE} in the album list category template, but it seems like it doesn't work outside the category list template. How do I modify the function theme_display_album_list_cat so {CAT_TITLE} can be understood in the album list template too?

I never figured that out, but I got around the problem by tweaking the tables around.
