I can't upload.  I go to batch add files, then I click the uploads folder, then I hit ok and the screen just goes blank

Do not cross-post.  I merged your topics together.  If you don't get an immediate response, allow at least 24-48 hours for a reply.  In the meantime, read this:

Also try searching for batch add problems.  This is a common problem, and you may have success finding an already published solution.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps completely:

When asking for support on the coppermine forum, post a link to your site and a test user account (the test user mustn't be in the admin group!) with upload privileges, with the above mentioned settings in place - this way, supporters can see the error messages as well. Do not post debug_output unless requested.

but It says:
Error
Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

Joachim Müller

well, probably because there is no album then. As far as I can see, you only have categories, but no albums. File uploads go into albums only.

You need to follow the troubleshooting guide.  Until you do, I can't help isolate this problem.  The guide is very specific on how to configure uploads.

ok maybe i should say this since its not in the title. I CAN'T BATCH ADD. I can upload using the one file at a time thing but I can't batch add.  I get here : http://www.addictedtotelevision.net/gallery/searchnew.php?startdir=uploads and the screen goes blank.

Joachim Müller

we understand that your issue is batch-upload, yet the http upload with the troubleshooting settings enabled might give devs/supporters an idea what is actually wrong. Do as suggested.

alias47

i've done as suggested and nothing happened.

is there anyway that I can get back the pics I've posted already, put up a new gallery and put them back becuase this is getting annoying

Joachim Müller

I wasn't able to log in using the test user account your provided above:

Are you sure there is no typo in this and that the account is still active?

It's not User/Password, it's user/password.  Capital letters make a big difference.  Single uploads appear to be working.  Send me a pm with an admin login/password, and I'll look at your batch add.
