how to repair a theme?

Edit: nvm, i think i got it fixed.  you can delete this thread. sorry bout that.

i recently all of a sudden recieved this error:
Template error
Failed to find block 'file_line'(#(<!-- BEGIN file_line -->)(.*?)(<!-- END file_line -->)#s) in :

but i ran a query in phpmyadmin adn it fixed it, so now my gallery is working again.  However, I can't change the theme to anything other than the classic.  Was there an initial problem with teh custom theme I had?  I basically just want to know how to get my theme back.
