Why table width 760px show as 790px??

Hello... In my site I fixed the size to my tables to be 760px ... some of the tables behave good... but in index page... the table around categories show as 790px .... if you check in source view you will see 760px.... Why ? all others tables are 760... have a look for example... in index page the table of ramdom files... I´m trying to find out this for a long time... and I can´t fix that....

Well... ok... So... if you have a time... one day... maybe you can please have a look??? Sorry ... but I can´t fix this configuration problem... Anyway... Thank´s

Hardcoding a certain width is not a bright idea: if the content is wider, the cell will of course be expanded to fit the content's width. So you'll have to dig deeper and find out what content elements make your initial table become wider than expected. Take into account the content as well as margin and padding of the elements contained within.

Thank you very much for your advice... I will try to fix my problem now... A list now I know that my problem is more complex ... I will find out what´s to do!!!!
