Google Ads in TRANSMISSION theme

I'd like to insert my Google Ads under the left menu in the TRANSMISSION theme. How do I do that? Where exactly do I put the Google ad's code?

edit themes/transmission/template.html with a plain text editor. Put your adsense code underneath the table that holds the main_menu entries
