Nibbler fixed my first issue and know, I'm afraid, I have another.

First the disclaimer

Coppermine install: http://betraythis.com/forum/gallery
Forum install: http://betraythis.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.5
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.17
Test user account: test/test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://betraythis.com/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:../
Use post-based groups?:  0

I have bridging enabled and as admin the bridge works...for users though not so.  I believe the issue to be with the groups not being imported as the default groups for CPG are in effect and no others.  All users appear to have been added as CPG users.

We limit access to certain albums and now, after upgrading, all albums that are "private" are not available to the members they should be available for.

TIA.

Nibbler

You have disabled the feature you are talking about. Please read the manual before posting.

Hmmm, I thought I had.  Anyway doesn't seem to intuitive the way that it is explained in bridgemgr.php as it states, which I'm sure you know:

QuoteShould the groups from the BBS that are defined by the number of posts be taken into account (allows a granular permissions management) or just the default groups (makes administration easier, recommended).

Members don't get added to these groups based upon the number of their posts.

After setting this variable to 1 and adjusting the permissions on the albums and it works so I'm happy.

Thanks.

Nibbler

The manual says

QuoteShould Coppermine import the special groups that exist in the forum ? If you select no, then Coppermine will use the standard groups (Administrator, Registered and Anonymous) which makes administration easier and is recommended. You can change this setting later as well.

@Girr83: if your manual says something else, you probably haven't upgraded the manual along with your coppermine install ;)
