Changing view counts on uploaded images?

I've added new backgrounds to a number of my images and I'm going to upload all the new ones - I was wondering if there's a way I can change the view counts of the new images so it stays current with what the old ones were. Any clue?

If it's not too many images you could use the file replacer plugin from the plugins board.
