Permision for a category ?

How to setup the permision for a category in coppermine ?

You can only setup permissions for albums.  Categories are a way to organize albums, but there is no way to set permissions for a whole category.

If I were to consider this feature, I would write a plugin that would mass-apply permissions to all the albums in a category.  If you have the skills, go for it (and consider sharing the plugin once finished).  If not, maybe someone else will consider it some day.

I believe this feature has been requested on the Features Requests board, but I'm not sure.
