I'm helping a friend set up her galleries, and when you go to view an individual photo, it comes up with an error.

Please go here and try it and see what I mean:

It seems like you are using a customized theme from 1.3.x. Using a theme from 1.4 works: http://sweet-asia.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=2&pos=1&theme=classic

You need to read the docs on upgrading the theme from 1.3 to 1.4
