Ok, I provided a picture to aid in what I want done and have numbered it for ease of explaining and understanding.

#1 Shouldn't even be visible or there
#2 Should look like #1 in how the table is programmed and seperated by the random files that would be below it.
#3 Should appear on sub-gallerys as well as main gallerys
#4 should look like a 2nd #1 below #2
#5 Should look like a single, 1 col table, album.
#6 Should look like a single, 1 col table, album inside of #5 and all after it

If that is not possible then can you try to make it so that you can have an album on the top page, then an album within an album and so on.

If its not possible then tell me so I can find a program that is more customizeable.

Categories can be nested into subcategories. You can have as many albums in a category as you like. I believe this is outlined in the docs at http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#cat_alb_pic.
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

Then the sub-categorys are overshadowed by the main categorys. Then if I were to have 5 categorys and 23 sub-categorys, each with more then 3 albums, it would become one huge mess which will have a negative effect on how my website is viewed. Now if I were to have what I said above or simply have the ability to have sub-albums everything would work fine.

Sub-albums become nessecary when you could have OVER 100+ albums in one category due to all the characters in a series. Only thing is not all the characters are very important and need their own main album, but their more imporant to just be shoved together with a bunch of insiginifacnt characters. In that case you need a sub-album to categorize them correctly.

Im going to use an example that is the reason I need sub-albums, So bear with me even though you don't know who im talking about:
-In Inuyasha their are 2 primary characters Inuyasha & Kagome. So I make them an album in the category "Inuyasha anime".
-Now I want to seperate the characters so they can each have their own album so their are 2 sub-albums.
-Now lets follow Inuyasha sub-album. Their are a few characters who are completely linked to Inuyasha but appear so little that haveing their own album would be pointless. So then I make 2 new sub-sub-albums one for Inutashio and another for his Mother.
-Now lets follow Kagome's sub-Album. Kagome knows many people so lets just do a few examples: Sub-Sub-Album for Mother, Souta, Grandpa, & Hojo.
-Hojo Has an ancester which appears for a short time so Hojo will have a Sub-Sub-Sub-album for his ancester.

Thats already 10 Albums cloging up space when their should only of been one album which could of clearly and easily covered all of it and made use of only one-main album. The no sub-albums/How it initaly looks problem is the only thing realy keeping this program from being the best gallery program out there. This would cover what you sub-categorys don't and realy help the apeal of the program and layout to benifit the whole program. >_< If you just tried it on the appropriate type of gallery then you would be agreeing with what I am saying.

The current way to do that is if you went into the Inuyasha & Kagome album you would see the Inuyasha Album. Then you have to exit the Inu album and go into the Inutashio album. The Kagome side would be like this: Go into Kagome album, exit kagome album, enter Hojo album, exit hojo album, enter Hojo Ansester album.

Do you See what I am trying to say ?!?!?!?!?!?

Sub-albums are not possible yet in Coppermine.  It is one of the most requested features, and it is being considered for Coppermine 1.5.

I think the category and subcategories should reflect how a user would browse an organized gallery.  The organization would make sense to anyone who knows the subjects.

If you want to collect things from various albums and various subcategories, you might try to tag photos with keywords, then create albums with linked photos using the keyword field on the album properties.

Or use "canned" search results by providing links that return certain collections of characters.

This is the issue involved with organizing, browsing, and searching any large collection of photos.  You need to come up with a plan and then implement it.  There are almost no "perfect" plans, but you should be able to find one that does most of the things you want.

SO how long till coppermine 1.5?

Also since I won't be uploading most of the pictures, keywords would be useless. Its going to be a public built gallery.

Paver

We have no timeline yet for 1.5.  It's certainly months, not weeks.  It's being developed and you can download the latest code in the "devel" branch using Subversion.  But sub-albums are not part of this code, as it (and many other features) are still being considered and explored.

Users can add keywords to images, but I agree that you cannot rely on users to do the correct thing every time.

I am working on a way to mass-apply keywords to files, but I have no idea when that will be ready.

I don't think that sub-albums will be part of cpg1.5.x...
