I didn't see this in the docu, and all my attempts to search the forums resulted in the search engine scolding me that my search wasn't specific enough (not sure what it wanted from me...)  :-[

Anyway, I have two websites, which are hosted on one shared hosting account.  They share a common directory structure (that is, they're both subfolders of the same actual user space) but from the user's perspective are two separate domains.

My question:  Is there a way to share the bulk of a Coppermine install for both sites, while preserving the illusion that they are two separate galleries?  Basically what Id like to do is have two databases, two album spaces, config files, etc., but have all the static code and things that don't change get shared.

This would be to save on disk space usage.  If it's too hard or not possible, I can just upload two copies, but it would be nice if I could get away with one.

Thanks much!

P.S.  Using the latest CPG 1.4.8 in case that matters.

Easiest way would be to symlink the directories and then add an if/else into config.inc.php to switch between the 2 sets of db details based on the domain name used to access the gallery. Whether you can do this depends on your hosting arrangements. The disk space saved would only be a few MB - the main advantage would be ease of maintenance.

Thanks for the info.  Is it just the config file, album directory, and the database itself that would need to be gallery-specific?
