I've been trying to figure out this problem.  I've read the documentation.  I've searched for previous posts, but nothing I've found has given me a clear enough solution to solve the problem.

I want my users to be able to easily upload their photos to their galleries and most of them are wanting to upload files greater than 1024 KB.  I tried setting the max upload higher, but that didn't work.   My sis-in-law says she uploads to her brother's coppermine gallery and it resizes for her automatically.  I set mine up clicking yes for everyone on auto resizing, but still when I try to upload as a user, I get the message that uploading was not successful because the file size exceeded 1024 KB.  Am I doing something wrong?  What do I need to do so that users can upload larger file sizes (my camera takes pictures that are about 3MB each) and have coppermine resize the images?  They are family members who are not that tech savvy and would not have photoshop or the know how to resize images on their own.

Thanks for any help.
