I am having some problems with some of the images that I have uploaded into my gallery.  They upload fine but it only displays the file name in the album.  The files are all jpegs, all the correct size, whats going on??

First off update your gallery to the latest stable version.

My point exactly - you are 6 versions behind. Download Coppermine from our site and update following the instructions provided.

ChifriedChicken

Ok fella updated to 1.4.8 but the image is still not working.  what now?

I think the originally uploaded image is corrupted somehow, the browser cannot display it but desktop apps can.

Works in opera, fails in FF.

ChifriedChicken

Yeah I agree.  I checked some of the other images that did upload properly and they previewed in FF and IE. So I don't know whats up.  Thanks - you da man.

I'll mark this one as solved. Converting the file to another format and back again seems to fix the error.

ChifriedChicken

Actually I figured out the real answer as apposed to leaving it hanging out there.  You must make sure that your files are saved in an RGB mode those where CMYK because I had used them for print and the browsers have a problem with that I guess.  It's always the little things.

Nibbler

True, CMYK is not supported by GD. Thanks for returning and posting your solution.
