Hi everyone,

I have a strange problem with my coppermine Gallery. Everything seems to be OK - Gallery ist installed, configured properly and fine working...

The strange thing ist that when I try to edit a file which is already uploaded in an Album and the album ist small, up to 15 pics, I can set up a pic, name or keyword, etc.

BUT if the album has more than 20 pics and I try to set up the file name (picture name or description) i become the error messge:
"You don't have permission to access this page."
and I've been loged-out with my admin account.

I've read the most cookie issues in the forum, but my problem doesnt seem to be a coockie one?  :'(

PLEASE HELP ME!

Last time I saw this it was an issue with mod_security blocking the request. Check with your host.

Thanks for your reply,

I'll try this but I'm sure, that my Domain provider does not have this security module on the apache srever, but I'll try...

NO, mod_sec is not activ on the webserver!!!There should be another reason. Die Folder-permissions, where my album is, is set to 777, files all 644.

PLEASE HELP ME AGAIN!!!

Temporarily disable all pseudo-security apps like "Norton Internet Security" or similar crap that could possibly interfere with cookies. Make sure that you don't have over-paranoid cookie settings in your browser. Post a link to your coppermine-driven gallery and (if possible) a non-admin test user account.

I've already asked the host about the security programs which are used on the server. There are no firewalls or such things (norton security or so). mod_security is on the server also disabled.

I've already tried to do the album modifications on other browsers (IE, Firefox, Opera, Safary) and other PC on another network, the same permission problem accured.

My Coppermine Gallery can you find under

http://www.zhivkov.com/gallery/index.php

there is a test account for you ready: username = pass = test
It is no problem for me to tell you the admin account if needed.

Thank you in Advance.

I was refering to security apps on your client, not on the server. ::) ::)

Your server is reporting

QuoteX-Powered-By: PHP/5.1.4-pl0-gentoo with Hardening-Patch

That "Hardening-Patch" is doing the same job as mod_security, see http://forum.hardened-php.net/viewtopic.php?id=74

Request to have the limits increased to allow more post data to be accepted.

No, I don't have any of these programs installed, I only use the win XP firewall, which I've switched off in order to test wheter this is the problem.

Thanks!
