Help, tried to upgrade from 1.3 now everything gone

Hi, i tried to upgrade to 1.4 and i really messed everything up, its all gone, should I uninstall 1.3 and start over?

no you just need to follow this doc:

and after upgrade you should change URL of gallery to http://www.womenmotorcyclistsunited.com/coppermine
by go to
admin mode=>config=>General setting=>URL of your coppermine gallery folder (no 'index.php' or similar at the end)

I don't think you followed the upgrade instructions correctly.  Did you read the instructions and follow the upgrade directions?  Is index.php in your Coppermine directory?  I can browse directly to your admin.php page, and from there everything works except for the index page.  Verify you uploaded the new index.php file.

You don't have to change the URL.

I do have the new index.php file but it is coming up as "Fatal Error" but if i go to "edit", everything is there.

did you manage to run update.php? it comes up blank for me.

Alright, i did the tutorial debugging, but now the URL comes up as the phpmyadmin page still no photogallery.

I also tried to run the update.php and its still coming up blank, I have done something terribly wrong  and I can't find what it is.

you are using yahoo hosting and you should said this at first place :

What are you doing with phpmyadmin? Take it out of your Coppermine folder and go through the update procedure again.

I'm going to dump everything and start over from scratch.
