Database Error

All was fine up until this weekend when I started seeing this error message when accessing my Photo Gallery:

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10055)

Any ideas..

Thank you for your assistance. I am hosting my web server. I suspect that I could be having some difficulty with my dynamic update client. Sometimes, a simple server restart does the trick. Sorry to have bothered you.
