what about different versions of images (age etc.)? And user a editing image a
while admin is deleting a which shouldn't be online anymore...until user a has finished and uploaded?
so the deleted image is online again.

2) I don't understand your question, not sure what you're suggesting
3) There's no such thing like age checks built into coppermine, yet there are several methods to keep unauthorized people (yes, this includes kids as well on adult sites) from accessing certain albums.
