Save Personal Galleries After Integration?

Is there some way for me to simply move the personal galleries of my users to a public folder, then integrate with my existing phpBB forum, and then move them back into personal areas (the same users are also registered on my forum), thereby integrating but also saving personal albums? I see that I can move files individually, but this would take forever to move all the personal files by hand like that. Any ideas or suggestions?
