I just downloaded 'cpg1.4.8', and when I unzipped the file, it contained no folders. I don't know if that it because of the winzip I used or the file I downloaded.

Please, I need this fix as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I was using a winzip that was only a trail version. So I downloaded winRAR, and it works perfectly. Don't know why winzip does that, but oh well.

Winzip trial will work as well as any other archiver. It has an option (checkbox) that says something like "preserve folder structure" of similar, by default ticked. You must have turned it off by accident. It's mandatory to leave the option on - this way preserving the folder structure within the archive when unpacking.
Both WinRAR as well as WinZIP are commercial apps that require payment. If you're using WindowsXP, you can use the built-in ZIP mechanisms as well. Most Linux distributions already come with an archiver that is capable to un-archive zip files.
We (the coppermine dev team) recommend the free app 7zip (released under GNU GPL, supported archives include 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZH, CHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS) for those on Windows who need an archiver app, but most other apps should work as well if used properly.
Thanks for resolving your thread though - I only applied to make sure that others don't get the impression that you need a particular archiver to unpack the coppermine package. This is not the case - WinZIP should work fine as well as most other archivers.
